Green is the predominant color here, dripping from the leaves above and moss below. Overgrown and wet, several streams run through the woods, eventually trickling down into Luna Valley. Outside the valley, you'll find the occasional skeleton of an Elven tower or outpost, long since reclaimed by ivy and rot. |

Luna Valley This lush canyon valley's primary feature is the huge lake that occupies much of the center. Small waterfalls make their way down the cliffsides to trickle into the lake. On the largest of the cliffs is the abandoned Elven city of Isalor. Sub-board: Isalor |

A peculiar place indeed. Sea breezes make this area cool and humid, with frequent rain. It would be a wet forest like any other if it wasn't for the enormous quantity of mushrooms here. A large variety of fungi can be found, from half-discs clinging to trees, to little clusters that grow in the dark, and even some almost as large as trees themselves. |

South Ilrek River After pooling in Halahray lake, the river becomes warmer and slower, and it's shores sandier. It runs through the Drowned Forest to Shard Delta, eventually mixing into brine with the ocean beyond. |

Drowned Forest Long ago, the Ilrek river's southern half flooded a low-lying stretch of woodland to the east and west of it, drowning the local plants. The foggy forest is composed now of twisted, leafless trees, bark bleached white by the elements. The ground is muddy, with little in the way of vegetation, and one should beware of sinkholes. Only criminals frequent this place.

Wisplight Swamp Briny water flows slowly among the mangroves and cypress trees, and the ground can become mud or even quicksand from one step to the other. At night, purple and blue balls of fire are seen blinking in the darkness, rising from the sulfurous mud, or possibly from the spirits of creatures who died here. Follow these will-o-the-wisps at your own risk, lest you join the bodies decomposing underground. |
